Sarah's F’N Yays and Nays

 

 

​Welcome everyone to a new segment. I will be coming by every week to express 2 positives (yays) and 2 negatives (nays) of each show for the week.

​A little background about myself since this is my first article. My name is Sarah and I've been a wresting fan since I was 7-8 years old. I'm 37 now and am more passionate about this business than ever before. Want to learn more just ask!

 

~~Smackdown 9/25: F'N Yay #1 the triple threat to start the show. Showcasing Sami with an unlikely win and reason to gloat was great and worth a Yay. The 1st Nay goes to Riddle and Corbin match. Feels like it came out of nowhere tonight. Also having Corbin win with no payoff or fight at Clash of Champions made this match seem lost. The 2nd Yay was Jey and Roman segment. We have seen the last few weeks Jey be all goofy and fun loving while Roman gave icy stares. As fans we've waited for heel Roman and with that spear we finally got it. The last nay is the fact that in 2 hours we got 4 matches? Don't care if it's the go home show, you should be capable of 6 at least. 

 

~~Clash of Champions (9/27): F'N Yay #1 is again the triple threat. This time a ladder match. I love the idea of Sami cheating to win. OK this wasn't technically cheating but man were the handcuffs cheap. First nay is WWE not being honest on Covid. We know it exists. We know your Superstars are getting it (thanks internet *fist bump* ) but just saying the aren't medically cleared feels cheap and like you think we're idiots. Yay #2 was the Roman Reigns and Jey Uso match. Was this the F'N Match of the night for me? No. But it did it's purpose, brought heat to Roman, and told a great story. Thanks for that guys. Lastly the nay. I'm tired of the Street Profits and Andrade and Angel Garza. They can put on good matches but give me something different for a bit. 

 

~~Raw (9/28): Tonight's first  yay goes to Keith Lee vs Andrade, man those 2 did great. And kicking Vega to the curb? Very brave of you Andrade. Was Charlotte not a fan of her or looking for something fresh. Does she go with Aleister Black next? The first nay, is the Mysterio Family drama. The love and with Murphy and Dominick trying to destroy him....give him a new opponent please. Yay for the Raw debut of Mandy Rose. Also Dana Brooke getting some ring time is nice. Good for her, good for them. Also can someone explain how you get yourself suspended and then on your first match back you get a title shot and almost win? No, not buying it Robert.

 

~~Dynamite (9/30): A yay to start is how angry Cody got when accepting his match. That fire was pure gold. However that also brought out a nay because holy crap that scene went on to long and the extended fights like that are boring. Orange Cassidy and #10 of the Dark Order was a great match. Action and Comedy from Anna Jay and Silver on the out side. Also Britt Baker match left a lot to be desired. She did earn a nay for her performance and attack.

 

~~NXT (9/30): First yay to  Shotzi Blackheart, one of the new charismatic wrestlers. Love this girl and love that she is getting some time in the ring to show what she can do. But oh my damn was that not scary when she got dropped on her head on the ring apron. For me the only nay in this show was the Kushida match. Just kinda meh for me. And lastly the talk between HBK, Kyle, and Fynn was gold. It had me wanting Takeover that night.
